(UEN: 202342896C) (“YGF”, “we”, “us” or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 of Singapore (“PDPA”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, protect and retain your personal data when you visit our official website at https://www.ygfglobal.com (the “Website”), including when you submit an enquiry through the “Contact Us” form on the Website or contact us at the email addresses published on the Website.
Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. By submitting your personal data to us through the Website, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy and consent to the collection, use and disclosure of your personal data as described in it. If you do not agree with any part of this Privacy Policy, please do not submit your personal data to us.
Applicability and scope
This Privacy Policy applies only to personal data collected through the Website. It does not apply to: (a) personal data collected by YGF franchisees in the course of operating their restaurants, for which each franchisee is independently responsible; or (b) third-party websites, platforms or services that may be linked to or from the Website (please see “Links to other sites” below).
For the avoidance of doubt, the Website does not use cookies or any similar tracking technologies, and we do not collect your location information, device identifiers or browsing behaviour when you visit the Website.
Personal data we collect
We collect personal data only when you voluntarily provide it to us through the “Contact Us” form on the Website or by contacting us at the email addresses published on the Website. The personal data we collect is limited to:
• your name;
• your email address;
• your telephone number; and
• the content of your message, feedback or enquiry (including any personal data you choose to include in it).
You are not required to create an account to use the Website, and we do not collect payment information, national identification numbers (such as NRIC or FIN numbers) or other sensitive personal data through the Website. Please refrain from including sensitive personal data in your message to us.
If you choose not to provide the personal data described above, we may not be able to respond to or follow up on your enquiry.
How we use your personal data
We collect, use and disclose your personal data only for the purposes notified to you in this Privacy Policy and consented to by you, or as otherwise permitted or required by applicable law. These purposes are:
• to respond to, process and follow up on your enquiries, feedback, complaints or requests, including media cooperation enquiries and overseas complaints submitted through the Website;
• to evaluate and process franchise, business cooperation or other proposals you submit to us through the Website;
• to manage our relationship with you and to improve our customer service and the content of the Website;
• to comply with applicable laws, regulations, court orders or requests from governmental, regulatory or law enforcement authorities; and
• to establish, exercise or defend our legal rights or claims.
We do not use personal data collected through the Website for direct marketing purposes, and we will not send marketing messages to your Singapore telephone number in contravention of the Do Not Call provisions of the PDPA. If we wish to use your personal data for any purpose not described above, we will notify you and obtain your consent before doing so, unless we are otherwise permitted or required by law to do so without consent.
Disclosure of your personal data
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data. We may disclose your personal data to the following parties for the purposes described above:
• our related corporations and affiliates within the YGF group, including our headquarters in Shanghai, the People’s Republic of China, and, where your enquiry relates to a particular restaurant, the relevant YGF franchisee;
• third-party service providers who support our business operations, such as website hosting, information technology and communications service providers;
• our professional advisers, including lawyers, auditors and insurers; and
• governmental, regulatory or law enforcement authorities, where disclosure is required or authorised by law.
Where we engage third parties to process personal data on our behalf, we will require them to process the personal data only for the purposes we specify and to protect the personal data in accordance with the PDPA.
We may also share aggregated or anonymised information that does not identify, and cannot reasonably be used to identify, any individual.
Overseas transfer of your personal data
Your personal data may be transferred to, and stored or processed in, jurisdictions outside Singapore, including the People’s Republic of China, where our headquarters and certain of our service providers are located.
When we transfer personal data outside Singapore, we will take reasonable steps to ensure that the recipient is bound by legally enforceable obligations to provide a standard of protection for the personal data that is comparable to the protection afforded under the PDPA, in accordance with the Transfer Limitation Obligation under the PDPA.
How we protect and retain your personal data
Protection
We will take reasonable administrative, technical and physical security arrangements to protect the personal data in our possession or under our control against unauthorised access, collection, use, disclosure, copying, modification, disposal or similar risks, and against the loss of any storage medium or device on which personal data is stored. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your personal data.
If a data breach occurs that is likely to result in significant harm to affected individuals or that is of a significant scale, we will assess the breach and, where it is notifiable under the PDPA, notify the Personal Data Protection Commission (“PDPC”) as soon as practicable and in any case no later than three (3) calendar days after we have assessed that the breach is notifiable, and will notify affected individuals where required by the PDPA.
Retention
We retain your personal data only for as long as it is reasonable to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected, or as required or permitted by applicable law. Once your personal data is no longer necessary for those purposes, we will cease to retain it and will take reasonable steps to securely destroy or permanently anonymise it.
Accuracy
We take reasonable steps to ensure that the personal data we hold about you is accurate and complete. As the personal data we hold is provided by you directly, please ensure that the information you submit to us is accurate and complete, and inform us of any changes (see “Access, correction and withdrawal of consent” below).
Access, correction and withdrawal of consent
You may, at any time, request access to the personal data we hold about you, request the correction of any error or omission in that personal data, withdraw your consent, or **submit a request for the deletion of your personal data** by contacting our Data Protection Officer using the contact details set out below.
We will process your deletion request where your personal data is no longer necessary for the original collection purposes, or where you have withdrawn your consent and we have no ongoing legal or business obligation to retain your personal data. We reserve the right to decline or defer a deletion request if we are required to retain the data for statutory, regulatory, legal dispute or internal audit purposes.
We may charge you a reasonable fee for processing an access request, as permitted under the PDPA, and will inform you of the fee before processing your request.
To protect your personal data, we may need to verify your identity before processing your request. We will respond to your request as soon as reasonably possible; if we are unable to respond within thirty (30) days, we will inform you of the time by which we will respond.
If you withdraw your consent, we will cease (and will procure that our data intermediaries and agents cease) collecting, using or disclosing your personal data, unless such collection, use or disclosure is permitted or required by law. Please note that withdrawing your consent may affect our ability to respond to or follow up on your enquiry, but will not affect the lawfulness of any collection, use or disclosure carried out before the withdrawal.

The Website may contain links to websites operated by third parties. We are not responsible for, and this Privacy Policy does not apply to, the privacy practices or content of those third-party websites. We encourage you to read the privacy policies of any third-party websites you visit.
Children’s privacy
The Website is not directed at children under the age of thirteen (13), and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.
